I am not sure what happened here, but the whole game is far too quiet which can take you out of it." Our world is on the brink of apocalyptic annihilation havoc and destruction reign over our lands. Even the monster effects are on the quiet side. The music is just so quiet and outside of this game, I would not really care to hear it ever again. The most disappointing thing about this game for me has to be the sound design. The different cities all kind of look the same, but still smashing them up and using things like buildings as a weapon is awesome. It is pretty impressive that they tried to keep a coherent story going with this series of fighting games, but Godzilla: Save the Earth does pick up where Destroy All Monsters Mele left off, well 2 years after. As a kid, I would have killed for Godzilla games like these over the garbage that I got for the NES and SNES! This was released on PlayStation 2 and the original Xbox with both versions being pretty much similar, although the Xbox version did offer online play which was cool.
